Two-Part Drone Canon is a composition for upright bass and organ, where alternating pitch center progressions are explored by each member of the duo. The piece was designed to have the specific duration of two hours and seven and a half minutes based on an equation the artists devised to explain the repetition cycle inherent in what day-of-the-week a particular date falls on over the years.

The piece begins with seven and a half minutes of bass, when the organ joins and they rotate through the designated pitch centers in a staggered progression like a canon.
